If your check does not arrive within 7 days, your "hold" on the house may be cancelled without notice. We will email or call you when your check arrives.
Confirmation: Once we receive your deposit, we will send you a confirmation, and information on how to reach St. John, along with other helpful tips.
Balance: The balance of your rent, along with the required Government Room Tax of 8% is due 60 days prior to arrival. Please mark this date on your calendar. At the same time, we ask for a security deposit of $500. in the form of a signed check, which will be returned to you , uncashed, within 3 weeks following departure if there is no damage to the villa.
Cancellation Policy: Payments are non-refundable unless a
replacement rental is obtained. Of course we will always do our absolute best
to re-rent the home, so either a full or partial can be made to you without
loss to the home. Should you be forced to cancel for any reason and a replacement
rental is obtained, your payments will be refunded less a 15% fee based on the
total amount of the rental. Due to our strict (and typical) cancellation policy,
we recommend cancellation insurance for peace of mind, to prevent loss due to
unforeseen circumstances, illness, travel difficulties, or hurricanes. You may

Liability Policy: Guests assume full responsibility for any
accident, injury, or for loss of money, jewelry,or valuables of any kind. Guests
will have a set of keys and are solely responsible for locking the home and
safekeeping of personal items during their stay. Any damages to the villa or
its contents during the occupancy period is the responsiblity of the guests.
No children under 6 years are allowed without written permission. No pets are
allowed. Smoking is permitted outside the home.
Hurricane Policy: Our location in the Caribbean is lovely,
but it does put us at risk for hurricanes, especially during hurricane season
July-Nov. Guests are not allowed to stay in the home during hurricanes. The
owner and manager are not responsible for airline changes, cancellation fees,
or the cost of other accomodations and no refunds can be offered, other than
the refund of the rental and hotel tax from the day you vacate the home. We
highly recommend that you purchase trip insurance to cover other expenses.

The beauty and wonder of Maison Miele are exceeded only by the graciousness, concern, helpfulness and hospitality of Angie.
